Catching up

I have been a very bad blogger lately. I blame it all on my sister's Jess & Tami & Suz. They have been raving about this book called Twilight for a long time and I resisted because I knew I would neglect my everyday life if I started reading. Then I changed my mind and started reading. You need to understand that when I read I am taken to another world. Almost like I am in the book and I never want to put it down. So I am finished with the first book and am getting the 2nd book from Nichole. I can't wait. But I did decided to catch up on blogging while I don't have the book. The slide show has pictures of Valentine's to Easter. We haven't done that much exciting things. The babies have started crawling and that is a whole new chapter in our lives. I can't just leave them in a room and shower. Peyton is actually pulling himself up on things like his crib and the tub. He has even made it up the first two steps to the landing in the front room! I am not ready for this!!

I'm so excited you finally are back to blogging. Long time - no blog, eh? But I'm even more excited you finally are reading Twilight. Don't you just love Edward? I read all 3 within about a week and a half period. So I talked kelly into reading it (don't ask me how - lot's of begging and telling him how good it is). Well it took him over a month to read the first one and he didn't even want to open the second. Total chick flick, teen bopper books. but she's such a good author, you feel like you are watching a movie. Can't wait for the fourth to come out this summer!!

Isn't twilight a great book. The next two are even better. It drove my husband crazy when I was reading them because I didn't do anything. I read the 3rd book in 1 and 1/2 days. I stopped long enough to pick up kids from school and pick up pizza for dinner.
The movie Twilight is coming out in December I think. I can't wait.

Your Boys are handsome. I was going to say beautiful, but my son says boys are handsome not beautiful. Have a GREAT DAY!

I have missed you so much Melinda. Your darling little guys are so fun to see... I can't believe how much the twins have grown in the month you have been reading Twilight!!! I have all three books and have yet to read them - it's not good I know (too many others I'm trying to get through!). Anyway, I'm glad you're back for the brief moment. BTW, the costco post on that blog I suggested was the offending one and yes, people are getting way to PC and sensitive to the truth. Get Nicole and start stirring up some ideas for a girls trip - I'll start brainstorming as well. Think of all the reading you can get done basking in the sun with a bunch of lady friends!

Twilight is so addicting -- I know! And I"m not even a reader--but loved the series. I must say, isn't edward so incredibly gorgeous that you can't even comprehend? I have a very vivid pic of him in my head, and the movie is coming out in a year or so, and the guy that they have casted for edward doesn't do it for me. I'll stick with the pic in my mind.

Love Twilight. Read all 3 in about a week and a half! That is not like me. Novels aren't usually my thing. Check out her website and see the people that are going to be in the movie.

Melinda, Your babies are growing up sooo fast! I bet it is killer for you now that they are mobile. I know my brother and his wife (have twins that are four now) got to where their whole home was barracaded b/c it was a joke keeping track of them. They are so adorable and look like their personalities are so fun. Loved all the pics...and I know, Twilight is ridiculous and ridiculously addicting!!

I hope you had a fun birthday! Did you guys do anything fun? Your boys are all getting so big! I love to see your blog since we don't get to see much of you! There is a girl here in my ward that went to school with you and her name is Rachel. She has red hair and is way cute! I guess she was down here at Snow too when you were. I also love your diaper bag! It is way cute. And also the things you carry in it... almost exactly what I have in my, toys and all. Love, Lisa

It is good to read and see how your family is doing. It has been way to long. I just registered for this blog thing and can't wait to start keeping records of what's happening and seeing what has been happening with other friends. You have such a great looking family. I can't say cute because there aren't any little girls. That's alright I'll take care of that for you. Tell Greg hi for me and I will now be able to keep in touch.

Hey melinda-

I have to agree---I really enjoyed those books too. I'm glad to see something new on your blog though. I need to update mine---I am just such a slow typer that it is so painful to update the darn thing. Glad to hear that all is well. Your baby boys look like your brothers to me---too cute---all 4 of them.

You can google TWILIGHT and go to the one that says this is the REAL trailer ... it shows previews, etc. of the new movie coming out and who'll be playing the parts, really cool.

Hey Melinda,

I didn't do anything around the house and Boston watched lots of T.V when I went on my Twilight Marathon. Loved every second of all three books. I am an Edward lover. The mention of the word "Twilight" comes with an automatic roll of the eyes with Russ. I think he's really dying to read it but not saying anything!! Thank you so much for your sweet gift. When we were talking on the phone, and you said you just mailed our b-day presents out it didn't click until I went to our mailbox and there I found your cute gift. Thanks again. It was good talking to you!
