Is it spring yet?

Last Saturday the boys were hot and wanted to be cooled off with the hose. So they are running through the sprinklers. Even though there is a little bit of snow across the street, it was really warm at or above 50 degrees.

Then on this past Friday the weather people say it's going to snow. Sure we think. First thing in the morning we see very few snowflakes. Austin even wears his hoody to school. By the time I pick them up for school we have more snow in that short period of time then we had all winter. Will we ever have a real spring?

By the way...thanks so much Jessi helping me with my blog. I love it!

Our Florida Trip

So we have now been back for over a week and I am just now posting pictures of our Florida trip. We had so much fun. Thank you so much to g-ma Jane and g-pa Phil for coming and watching the boys so we could go. It was such a fun, relaxing vacation. Sometimes I would get anxious because I felt like I needed to be cleaning, or doing wash or something like that. If we wanted to go somewhere we would just get in the car and go. Very different from at home. I am glad to be back. It was cold a few days there, but then the last couple of days it heated up. It was a once in a lifetime trip. Thanks again g-ma and g-pa!!

I'm Back for a minute!

Okay, now that I am finished reading the "Twilight" series I can now focus on more important things like blogging! I did love the books and I am looking forward to the 4th book coming out in August. Anyway, Greg and I are able to take a trip to Florida (with out the kids) for a week to do some relaxing in the sun. I thought the snow was finally melting away, you could finally see our sidewalk and some grass. Then on Saturday it started snowing. It is snowing right now...I had to dig out the kids snowpants for recess again, good thing they weren't already in storage. Grandma Jane is flying in tonight to watch all four kids. Normally this wouldn't be a big task for her, but I neglected to tell her that the babies are crawling fast and climbing up on everything, including the stairs. I thought if I told her she might back out. Grandpa Phil is coming to save her on Monday. I am so thankful that they are so willing to come and spend some time with the kids, especially since they are putting their mission papers in soon. I will post some fun, sunny pictures when we get back.

By the way, Hunter won 2nd place in the pinewood derby on Friday night. It was a tri-ward pinewood derby and was a lot of fun for him...and Greg. You should see the dad's faces light up every time their child one. Greg was obviously one of those dads. They neglected the car until the week of and Greg even canceled patients at work so he could finish the car. CRAZY! Hunter tells him...dad, it's not about winning, but if I had fun making the car and racing it. That's not Greg's theory!
